I am a editor and writer of southern origin and live with my husband William in Miami via New York. I’ve had the benefit studying for a summer at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, plus two years part-time work sweatin’ it out in a prep kitchen. I haven’t met a food I don’t like, but some of my favorites are summer corn and tomatoes, stinky cheese, runny egg yolks, grits, falafel and a good baguette. Food consumes me. This is my outlet.

William couldn’t peel a carrot before we met, but, since, he’s moved on up to the ranks of family sous chef, menu consultant and official taste critic. He also devotes a fair amount of time to law school (just the New York Bar left to go!). William almost has recovered from a traumatic childhood encounter with canned tuna, but he’d much rather eat a savory pie or pasta carbonara.
