This blog chronicles the weekly meals of a food-loving couple struck with a hard case of the omnivore’s dilemma. For our purposes, we’re defining omnivore as one who eats vegetables and meat. But definitions are less important than enjoying a meal with my husband, friends and family, all the while being as respectful as possible to farmers, laborers, animals and the environment.
This is not a political blog. It’s more an exercise in delicious, mindful eating. You can expect an 80/20 ratio of vegetarian (and occasionally vegan) to meaty meals. And that’s the way we like it.
